The Cube
Each day, we experience the world as it is – but not everyone can.
The Cube – Designed for individuals with disabilities.
The Cube is a project designed to give an experience similar to VR to people with mental and/or physical disabilities. The reason for The Cube’s creation was to offer an experience usually inaccessible to the clients, so that they’re able to have a chance to experience the world the same as we do.
While working on this project I have learned many important aspects of serious game development, particularly in designing accessible and interactive experiences. I have worked with real clients and was able to make a product that helped people with disabilities engage with digital experiences in meaningful ways.

Additionally, collaborating with stakeholders allowed me to refine my communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that the final product met both technical requirements and client expectations. This experience has deepened my understanding of how serious games can be used not just for entertainment but also as powerful tools for education, therapy, and social inclusion. Moving forward, I plan to apply these lessons to future projects, and have a positive impact on people.
Throughout the development I have worked on many aspects of the game, such as level design and UI functionality, while always keeping in mind the needs of our target audience. For the interface, I had to ensure that menus, buttons, and interactive elements were not only visually clear but also easy to navigate.

Level design was another critical area where I applied my skills to create engaging and accessible environments. Unlike traditional game design, where challenge and complexity are often the focus, I had to prioritize clarity, guidance, and engagement for a diverse audience.
